The Higher Institute for Scientific and Medical Research (ISM) is seeking a Research Assistant in Neuroepidemiology for a 1-year fixed-term position renewable. This role is embedded within Phase 2 of a Wellcome-funded study focusing on Atherosclerosis and Stroke in Cameroon. Working under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Kamtchum Tatuene and a multidisciplinary research team, the successful candidate will manage daily research activities, including patient enrolment, clinical assessments, specimen collection, and data analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to clarify the epidemiology and pathobiology of stroke in the Cameroonian population and help establish a biobank for future discovery research.
